I find him to be very suspicious. The fact that it never occurred to him to look through Susan's stuff until all that time after the fact makes no sense to me. And his reaction when that producer was there putting the pieces together seemed just so forced....on top of it all Robert paid for him to go to college and God knows what other financial support he's provided over the years. But then I guess...if he knew about the letter for all this time, what would be his motivation for handing it over now?

While I don't believe he had any part in withholding the evidence, I do believe he was involved in some capacity with tipping Bob off before the interview about what they're going to do (IE Bob's call to Jarecki: I've been giving a lot of thought about what you're planning on doing, or at least what I think you're planning on doing - and it increasingly makes less and less sense to me"
Not to mention the fact that we know he kept in contact with Bob after the letter discovery as referenced briefly in episode six when the producer Marc calls Jarecki to tell him that he had "just talked to Sareb and Bob told him not to tell the producers he was in LA because he told Jarecki he was in Barcelona"
